Our beer connoisseurs will know that St. Louis is the home to Anheuser-Busch. The beer brewing process is indeed an interesting one and Anheuser-Busch has been doing it for over 100 years. I thought I would share some pictures and experiences of the tour. <em>(All pictures can be clicked to see full-scale.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/002.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/002_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>A short introduction to Adolphus Busch begins the Anheuser-Busch story.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/003.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/003_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Memorabilia and historical artifacts in the entrance include one of their early red delivery trucks.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/004.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/004_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>As you wait for the tour to begin, a large painting of their well-known Clydesdale&#8217;s hangs near the start.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/005.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/005_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>While I took the walking tour, there are many different tours available.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/006.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/006_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>The Clydesdale horses were indeed impressive.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/007.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/007_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>One thing I learned, is that only male Clydesdale&#8217;s pull their classic carriage.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/008.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/008_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>The carriages were housed inside.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/009.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/009_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>These are the carriages that appear in parades and in television commercials.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/010.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/010_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>The harnesses for the horses, are likewise, extremely large.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/011.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/011_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>The horse&#8217;s name hangs above were they are housed in the stable.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/012.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/012_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>As the tour progressed, I captured this bronze statue of the Anheuser-Busch eagle as we went into the brewery.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/013.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/013_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Row after row of huge mash tanks, were the beer ferments, took up over three stories of one building.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/014.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/014_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>The Beachwood aging tanks, where the beer sits on top of beachwood chips to give it added flavor. One tank holds the equivalent of 250,000 individual six-packs. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/015.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/015_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>After the wood does its thing, the shavings are recycled into mulch.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/016.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/St_Louis\/016_small.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\n<em>A sampling of the many beers brewed at the St. Louis facility.
