{"id":3261,"date":"2015-03-18T14:36:10","date_gmt":"2015-03-18T19:36:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.hulettsonlakegeorge.com\/?p=3261"},"modified":"2015-03-18T14:36:10","modified_gmt":"2015-03-18T19:36:10","slug":"lglc-welcomes-christopher-laguardia-to-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/index.php\/archives\/3261","title":{"rendered":"LGLC Welcomes Christopher LaGuardia to Board"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hulettscurrent.com\/pictures\/LaguardiaChris.jpg\"><br \/>\n<em>Christopher LaGuardia has been named to the Board of Directors of the Lake George Land Conservancy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) is pleased to welcome Kattskill Bay resident Christopher LaGuardia as the newest member of its Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<p>Originally from Guilderland, NY, LaGuardia now resides in Sag Harbor, NY, where he is president of LaGuardia Design Landscape Architecture P.C. LaGuardia holds a bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of Georgia\u2019s School of Environmental Design and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.<\/p>\n<p>His connection to Lake George started in his childhood with frequent family camping and scouting trips. His parents purchased the annex to the Trout Pavilion Hotel in Kattskill Bay in 1979. In 2003, LaGuardia and his wife, Jane, purchased a home in Kattskill Bay with their two children, Charlotte and Elliot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lake is a special place to me; it\u2019s been my refuge and hideout during a busy professional career and provided my family with countless memories to last a lifetime,\u201d said LaGuardia. \u201cI now feel it\u2019s time to give something back to the lake and so it is an honor and privilege to join the LGLC board of directors and I look forward to helping promote its goals and ideals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to have Chris on the board,\u201d said LGLC Executive Director Jamie Brown. \u201cIn addition to benefiting from his professional expertise, we\u2019re pleased to have more representation from the lake\u2019s southern basin.
